Referral Program
Invite people to Hype Market and earn two types of ongoing rewards when they trade: bonus HMark Points and cash from the Referral Pool. Referral relationships are permanent and work three tiers deep. As long as your referrals keep trading, you keep earning.
How to Activate Your Referral Link
Make at least one real deposit of $10 or more into Hype Market. This means depositing into a market or protocol contract — not just transferring tokens to your wallet.
Once you've done this:

You can start sharing it immediately
No additional steps needed
You only need to do this once. After activation, your link works forever.
How the 3-Tier System Works
When someone signs up through your link and trades, they're your Tier 1 referral. If they share their own link and bring in someone else, that person is your Tier 2. One more level down: Tier 3.

What You Earn
Reward 1: Bonus HMark Points
When your referrals earn HMark Points from trading, you automatically receive extra points minted on top. Nothing is taken from them — they keep 100% of their own points.

Example: Alice (your Tier 1) earns 200 HP this month.
You get: 200 × 10% = 20 bonus HP
Your referrer (Tier 2 to Alice, if someone invited you): 200 × 1% = 2 bonus HP
Their referrer (Tier 3): 200 × 0.1% = 0.2 bonus HP
Alice still keeps her full 200 HP. These bonus points count toward your monthly Points Pool share.
Reward 2: Cash from the Referral Pool
Every trade contributes 0.1% of trade volume to the Referral Pool. When a downstream referral trades, a portion of that contribution is credited to your balance immediately:

Example: Bob (your Tier 1) makes a $1,000 trade.
Referral Pool from this trade: $1,000 × 0.1% = $1.00
You get: $1.00 × 10% = $0.10
Tier 2 referrer: $1.00 × 1% = $0.01
Tier 3 referrer: $1.00 × 0.1% = $0.001
Remaining $0.889 goes to Treasury
Cash rewards are credited automatically to your balance in the fee token. No claiming required.
The per-trade amounts are small by design. This is sustainable and fee-backed — no token emissions, no inflationary rewards. Value compounds as your network grows and trades consistently.

All 864 HP count toward your share of the monthly Points Pool — plus you've been receiving small cash payments from the Referral Pool throughout the month.
Rules
Permanent. Once someone is in your referral tree, the link doesn't expire.
Three tiers max. No deeper chains are tracked.
No self-referrals. You can't refer yourself or create circular trees.
$10 activation deposit. Both referrer and referee need an active account. If a referrer hasn't activated, their share is not paid — it flows to the Treasury.
Anti-abuse. Accounts flagged as abusive or sybil are blacklisted. Their referral shares are withheld and returned to the Treasury.

FAQ
Do my referrals get a benefit from being referred?
Referees may receive perks on their first trades (specifics vary by campaign). Being referred never costs them anything — your bonuses are minted on top.
What happens if a referral stops trading?
You stop earning from them. If they come back later, you start earning again automatically.
Is there a limit on how many people I can refer?
No limit on Tier 1 referrals. The tree grows as your invites bring in their own.
